Join On The Spot

If you know you would like to join the Co-op, let the cashier know prior to checking out. We will give you a packet of information regarding the Co-op and have you sign our membership contract.

For a Household Membership you make a $10 payment and receive an hour's worth of work credit (7% off your next $75 worth of purchases) and a Newark Natural Foods tote bag. The $10 payments are due each quarter until the $100 is paid in full for a lifetime membership. If you pay the full $100 fee up front, you will receive 3 hours worth of work credit to earn discounts on your purchases and a tote bag.

For a Senior Membership you make a $10 payment and receive a Newark Natural Foods tote bag. The $10 payments are due each year until the $100 is paid in full for a lifetime membership.

For a Student Membership you make a $5 payment for Spring or Fall semester and a $2 payment for Winter or Summer session.

Upon joining, please contact the office if you would like an orientation to the store. Orientations are a good way to get acquainted with the store and membership. We can answer your questions, review rules and responsibilities and give you a detailed tour of the store.
