Co-op Swap 'n' Shop

Newark Natural Foods has begun a monthly Swap 'n' Shop program! On the first Sunday of each month participants can exchange gently used and new goods like children's clothing, gardening tools, books and more. (Look below for the monthly schedule of items to be swapped.)

The purpose of the Swap 'n' Shop is to re-use/recycle items within our community while raising funds to improve our community room, The Meadow. Proceeds from each Swap 'n' Shop will be used to host educational programs and provide meeting space for local support groups. Any items that are leftover at the end of the Swap 'n' Shop will go to a local charity. Please let us know of any needs within the community!

Three ways you can participate:
Be a swapper—Sign up at customer service or register with Flo (See below for contact info.)
Be a shopper—Purchase tickets at the door to "shop" for items
Be a donor—Contact Flo to drop off your items the week before the sale

"Day of" Swap 'n' Shop schedule:
9am-10am:  Check-in/Set-up for Swappers
10am-2pm:  Swap 'n' Shop Open to the Public
2pm-3pm:  Raffle drawing and Clean-up

Ticket process: Swappers will receive 1-3 tickets for each item they bring. Tickets can then be "spent" on other items. Shoppers (without anything to swap) can purchase tickets for $1 each to "spend" on Swap 'n' Shop items. Donation items worth more than 3 tickets may be raffled off.
