Visit the Co-op Farmers Market for FRESH locally grown organic and natural fruits, vegetables, herbs, plants, baked goods, arts & crafts, and much more!
The Co-op Farmers Market is held in the front parking lot of the Newark Natural Foods Co-op every Sunday from 10am to 2pm through the spring, summer, and fall of each year. The goals of the Co-op Farmers Market are to support and help keep local farmers in business and to provide shoppers with the best fresh produce available. This is the eighth year that the Co-op is sponsoring the Farmers Market. At the Farmers Market, you will be able to: talk about food with real farmers who grow it; see many friends and make new ones there - it is one of the most popular places in Newark on Sundays; and do any other needed grocery shopping in the Newark Natural Foods store. You will find a large selection of locally grown organic and natural fruits and vegetables, jams, jellies, relishes, baked goods, prepared foods, cheeses, and arts & crafts. We get local musicians to play as often as possible to add to the festivities. Stop by on Sunday and say hello!
